Staying at Paseo De La Presa offered a mix of great views and some challenges. The location on the hill provided stunning vistas over Guanajuato, perfect for morning coffee. The room was spacious, featuring a nice shower that felt refreshing after a long day exploring. However, the journey down to the town was quite steep and the pathways could use some care, making walks back up a bit tiring. While there were no issues with cleanliness, the breakfast options were limited and could definitely benefit from better variety. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, but noise from neighboring rooms made it hard to sleep at times. A bit more attention to soundproofing would enhance the stay significantly. Overall, it offered pleasant amenities, but certain aspects could improve the overall experience.

fabulous views, nice pool, quiet location
The lock on the room was broken!!! The window in the toilet was dirty without an exhaust fan!!! Walk to town was steep and poorly cared for, with few railings!!! Could use better cleaning practices!!!

clean, clean, clean
The room I stayed in was impeccably clean and featured a comfortable bed that made for a restful night. The views from my balcony were amazing, showcasing the beautiful cityscape. The A/C was a lifesaver, keeping me cool in the 90-degree heat outside.

This place is just a decent option for a short stay in Guanajuato with a nice price-value balance. Room had a broken ventilation window, which let in some bad smell, but the staff were friendly when we checked in. Consider taking a cab for steep walks back after exploring the city.

A Great Place to Stay in Guanajuato
Our stay was unforgettable! The friendly staff went above and beyond to assist us. I particularly loved the pool area, where we spent relaxing afternoons after exploring the city. Just be ready for a bit of a hike back, as the location is on a hill. Overall, a wonderful choice!

Recommend it for groups looking for comfort
The breakfasts were really fantastic, like, an amazing selection of teas! The staff helped with everything, from calling cabs to laundry. We even had a cute little balcony that made the view fine.
It was a bit pricey, but you know what, it was still acceptable for what we got.
